Tour to Bale Mountain National Park
Program
Day 1 Drive to Goba (454km): Early morning drive to south east of Addis through the Crater Lake town of Debrezeit and stop at Ziway and see some aquatic birds by the shore of the lake. Have lunch at one of the lodges/hotels by Lake Langano and head to Dinsho-the park head quarter to pay the entrance fee but more to see games like the endemic mountain Nyala, Menelik’s Bush buck and others like the Grey Duiker, Bohor, Reedbuck, Wartogs and others. Continue to Goba and over night at Wabishebele resort hotel or similar.
Day 2 Excursion to Sanetti Plateau and Harena Forest: After breakfast start driving to Sanatti plateau. This plateau is the best place in Ethiopia to see the elegant endemic animal-Ethiopian Wolf. Also crawling are rodents, the largest being the giant molerat, found only in the Bale Mountains. Explore the area on foot, marveling at the lichen-clad rocks. Look to the sky for soaring birds of prey: golden, tawny and Verreaux’s eagles as well as the bearded vulture (lammergeyer), lanner falcon, and augur buzzard. Drive up and pass Tulu Dimtu - the second highest mountain in Ethiopia at 4,377m. Then start descending to enter the Harenna escarpment, plunging more than 2,000m towards a vast tropical forest in just 8km. Stop at the small village of Rira and have lunch form your lunch box together you may enjoy the local dish of ambesha and gomen (flatbread and steamed kale). Then hike in the Harena forest through dense stands of mountain bamboo. With some luck, you may encounter the elusive bamboo specialist endemic to the Bale Mountains. See the spectacular water fall in the forest and you may see Bush Buck. Drive back to Goba on the way exploring more Ethiopian wolf and highland birds. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3 Drive to Addis via Asela (423km): After breakfast start driving to Addis. Lunch en route and stop at the crater lakes town of Bishoftu and see some craters lakes. Arrival in Addis is late in the afternoon. End of Service.

Tour to Mekele and Gheralta
Program
Day 1 Fly to Mekele : Morning flight to Mekele. Upon arrival in Mekele, meet our representative and start driving to Hawzen. On the way, visit two of the rock-hewn churches of Tigray- churches of Abraha Atsbaha and Wukro Cherkos. Lunch en route. Continue driving to Gheralta Lodge for check in. Late afternoon relax around the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Gheralta Lodge.
Day 2 Visits around Gheralta : After breakfast, walk to the nearby church of Tekle Haymanot which was carved in the 13th century. Then trek up the mountain to visit one of the rock-hewn churches - Yohannis Makudi known for its original 18th century decorations. Back to the lodge for lunch and afternoon go out for a visit of more churches 8kms away from your lodge like Abune Yemata, Abune Gebre Mikael and Dugem Sellasie. Back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Bicycle riding and fly back to Addis : After breakfast, relax in and around the lodge and enjoy riding bicycling on the outskirts or walk around. After lunch drive to Mekele and check in for your flight back to Addis at the airport. End of service.

Tour to Arbaminch and Dorze
Program
Day 1 Drive to Arbaminch via Hossana and Tiya (465km) : Depart for a scenic drive to Arbaminch. Along the way you will see different tribes including the Oromo, Gurage, Hadiya, Welayta and Gamo people with their unique houses and farms. You also visit the stelae field at Tiya from the 12th C. Arrive late in the afternoon at the comfortable hotel perched on the edge of an escarpment offering great views of Lakes Chamo and Abaya, two Rift Valley lakes with the Nech Sar National Park between them. Overnight Paradise Lodge.
Day 2 Dorze Village and Lake Chamo : Early morning climb more than 3000 meters above sea level to visit the Dorze people at the town of Chencha. The Dorze people are famous for their bee hive look alike house styles and staple dining on a plant called False banana or Enset. Explore the harvest, fermentation and preparation of this cassava like plant and perhaps you might want to have a bite of this bread. While descending stop for a marvelous view of the twin lakes separated by the bridge of God and distinguished with their colors. Reddish is Lake Abaya, Greenish is Chamo lake. Afternoon, go out for a boat trip of Lake Chamo to see the resident Hippos, Nile crocodiles and water birds such as the Great White Pelicans, Marabou Storks, African Fish Eagle, Goliath Herons, Grey Herons and others. Return to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 3 Drive back to Addis : Morning star your drive back to Addis via Shashemene. Stop at one of the lodge by Lake Langano to have lunch by yourself and enjoy the view at the surrounding of the lake. Continue driving and have another stop in the town of Ziway to see some aquatic birds by the shore of Lake Ziway. Proceed via the Crater Lake town of Debrezeit and arrival in Addis is late in the afternoon. Transfer to your place of residence or drop off location END OF SERVICE.
